Threat of PM0.3

PM0.3 refers to solids or drops in the air with diameter smaller than or equal to 0.3 micron, which has particle diameter just 1/200 of hairline. PM0.3 could go through pulmonary blood barrier to enter into blood. As the smallest cell platelet shows 2.5-micron diameter in human body, PM0.3 will undoubtedly threaten people’s health.

Some hazardous substances will cause lung cancer, liver cancer and lymph cancer; some bacteria and virus in the air are also major cause of swine flu and bird flu; indoor decoration such as oil paints on furniture and adhesives will also trigger leukaemia, nose cancer, colon cancer and brain tumor.
